Family of Charlotte Murder Victim Pay Tribute to Her With Decision About Final Resting Place – RedState

“She loved America.” This is what Iryna Zarutska’s mother and uncle said when they were asked where they would bury their 23 years after being brutally killed on Charlotte’s tram by a criminal offender repeated on August 22.
Addressing the press members on Tuesday, the United States lawyer for the western district of North Carolina Russ Ferguson shared the conversation he had said to have had with Iryna’s family, and they said that they did not want his body to go home to Ukraine. A decision that could not have been easy for any of them.

“I want to add one thing, that I hope that the family would not bother me to share,” said Ferguson. “But after Inyna’s death, the Ukraine Embassy called and said:” We will help you bring it home. “”
“And his family said no,” he added. “They said,” She loved America. We will bury it here. “So I think we can give him an America of which he is proud.”
The American lawyer then reiterated previous declarations of the press conference that something in America is broken, which led to the murder of the young woman.
“And we are here to repair it,” added Ferguson, before putting the event to journalists for questions.

As my colleague from the Red State reported said, Ferguson previously suggested that the government would relate to the federal accusations against the man that the police had accused of odious murder, the career criminal Decarlos Brown, Jr.

In an update of this story, the general prosecutor of the MJ Pam Bondi announced that his department was going forward with federal accusations against Brown:

I managed my lawyers to continue the federal government Decartlos Brown Jr., a violent delinquent offender with history of violent crimes, for murder. We will ask for the maximum sentence of this unforgivable crime, and he will never see the day like a free man again.
On Monday, President Donald Trump weighed on the murder of Zarutska and said that the Democrats had blood on their hands for their falsified policies on the Soft-On-Crime, as Redstate reported.
