Feds Bust Huge Meth Super-Lab, Charge Five Illegal Aliens – RedState
On Friday, we were treated to another stark example of the Biden administration’s failures on border security, illegal immigration and drug trafficking – while the Trump administration scored a victory in all three areas. In California, the Justice Department oversaw the raid on a massive meth lab, seizing 3,000 pounds of meth and arresting five Mexican nationals who — wait for it — were in the United States illegally.
What a surprise.

Five Mexican nationals were indicted this week on federal drug and weapons charges after authorities discovered a clandestine methamphetamine lab in Northern California, leading to the seizure of nearly 3,000 pounds of the drug, officials said.
The Justice Department said a federal grand jury returned a 10-count indictment Thursday against Luis Reyna Carrillo, 33, Mariana Vanessa Mendoza Camacho, 33, Juan Jesus Manriquez Diaz, 31, Alvaro Rosales, 44, and Manuel Juan Madrid Perez, 38, charging them with conspiracy to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine and multiple offenses related to drug trafficking and firearms.
“These illegal aliens allegedly operated a secret laboratory on American soil, producing thousands of pounds of deadly drugs intended to poison our communities,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi. “This clandestine and illegal operation has now been dismantled. We will continue to protect Americans from the dangerous results of the previous administration’s open border policies.”
Oh, yes, that’s right: not only were they cooking meth in industrial quantities, but they had also obtained guns illegally. This could have ended very badly.
Here is the onion:
Carrillo and his wife, Camacho, arrived in the United States in March 2021 and received a court summons at a later date. Diaz was deported from the United States in 2018, while Rosales was deported in 2024.
Court documents allege that in October 2025, law enforcement began an investigation into an organization suspected of manufacturing and trafficking methamphetamine in a remote area of Calaveras County.
So two of the crooks came into the Biden administration and received the famous summons to appear in court and then released into the country. Another was deported in 2018, during the first Trump administration, and it is apparently unclear when and how he returned. And one, to be fair, was removed from office in 2024, during the end of the Biden presidency.
None of these people should have been in the United States.

Here’s the fun part: These five illegal alien criminals clearly wanted to come to the United States. They wanted to be in the United States to operate their meth cooking business. Now, assuming they are convicted – yes, we value due process here – they will spend a lot of time in the United States, looking the wrong way at prison bars.
Here, once again, the Trump administration is cleaning up the mess left by the Biden administration.
