Philadelphia, Washington and Baltimore have experienced oppressive humidity levels. Summer 2025 has dew points of an average of 6 degrees more than standards of the end of the 20th century in several cities. Experts say that climate change and recent rain events contribute to these extreme humidity levels, affecting unaccustomed areas to such conditions.
