Fix disk errors and speed up your PC with this handy tip

If your PC is running slow or experiencing disk errors, you need to fix the problem. Rather than trying to uninstall programs, you can run a scan of your hard drive to fix errors. Here’s how to do it:
What to do:
- Open Command Prompt as administrator.
- Type the command chkdsk C: /f /r /x and press enter.
- If the drive is in use, you can select Y to schedule the scan for the next reboot.
- Restart the system to allow CHKDSK to perform the scan.
- This command will fix all errors on the disk, locate bad sectors and recover all readable information.

Once the scan is complete, Windows will start normally and you can check the scan results in the event logs. The results will indicate any errors found and whether they have been corrected. You can view them in Event Viewer under Windows Logs > Application.
Once you complete these steps, your PC will boot normally and you will have a detailed report on all errors found and fixed. Your PC should now run smoother, without any errors fixed by CHKDSK.
