Forget AirPods Pro, the Powerbeats Fit are the perfect iPhone 17 Pro companion

Apple may have owned the Beats brand since 2014, but you would not know how to watch the range. In recent years, Apple has largely kept the identity of intact beats. Last summer, he gave the Beats pills a new lease on life, and earlier this year, he gave the PowerBeats Pro 2 a heart rate sensor in front of his own pro AirPods. This week, Apple’s Beats launched another member of the non-Airpods family, The PowerBeats Fit.
If PowerBeats looks familiar, it’s because they are. Beats reorganizes the excellent Beats Fit Pro to bring them back under the high -end PowerBeats brand. I was fortunate to try the new headphones during an event organized by Apple and Beats and I went impressed.
A truly friendly design
The first thing I noticed when I picked up the PowerBeats Fit was the Wingtip. Beats says that it is 20% more flexible than before, and it is certainly noticeable. The old pro-pro wing was secure, but could feel somewhat uncomfortable after a long race. However, the new one has a little more donations without sacrificing the locked stability which makes it ideal for intensive training.

The new PowerBeats Fit wings are softer and more comfortable in your ear.

The other change immediately obvious is the case. It is about 20% smaller than the case of pro beats. The old case was not huge, but it was a bit difficult to handle, so having a more compact case means that it will be more easily integrated into the tight pockets.
This alone means that the PowerBeats adjusts like a product that I actually throw in a pocket on the path of the gymnasium rather than piling up in a bag. The case is also classified IPX4 now (just like the headphones themselves), so a little sweat and burnt will not be a concern.
The headphones themselves have not changed their form radically. They are a little thinner and feel slightly better sculpted, but if you have used Fit Pro before, you will recognize them instantly.
Same solid experience
Of course, Beats has kept most of the features that users liked in the Pro Fit, including active noise cancellation and transparency mode. The sound quality is also quite similar – the PowerBeats Fit always has this signature of a classic Beats bass that is good for the training reading lists, but the voices and the mediums are also quite clear.
The sound was decent and familiar – not exactly a leap forward, but always satisfactory for relaxed listening and for training. The ANC blocked most of the buzz in surrounding events, and the mode of transparency worked well to listen to my environment without having to remove the headphones from my ears.

The new PowerBeats Fit case is a little smaller than before.

Do not expect a dramatically different sound from the Beats Fit Pro if you already know him. The ANC also feels about the same thing. PowerBeats Fit is to improve the design of headphones and boxes.
Regarding the battery life, Beats says that PowerBeats made up to 7 hours on a single load. Combined with the load case, they can reach up to 30 hours of use.
All the software features fed by the Apple H1 chip remains intact, such as adaptive equalization, personalized space audio, automatic switching of devices, audio sharing, my search for my, and Hey Siri. Android users always get a quick pairing and full Beats application with tests and adjustment controls.
For me, the only drawback is that the adjusted powerbeats case still lacks wireless load support, so the whole load must be made with a USB-C cable.
Comfort and style
Comfort is the real story here. The new Wingtip material makes a surprisingly large difference during movement. I ran on the treadmill for a while and tried a few jumps, and the headphones did not move in my ears. And unlike the Beats Fit Pro, the new softer wing did not bother me at all.
The beats include the same four sizes of silicone advice, from the extra-small to large, so obtaining an appropriate seal is not difficult. And because the acoustic profile is based on this seal for the best bass and anc, finding the right point always counts.

The new powerbeats made a deeper orange that corresponds to the iPhone 17 Pro.

The color options available for PowerBeats Fit are more fun than ever: jet black, gray gray, electric pink and spark orange off competition.
If you bought an iPhone 17 Pro in Cosmic Orange, the Spark Orange option corresponds perfectly to the popular color option. I don’t think it’s an accident. Beats has a long history of matching your pallets to the current colors of the iPhone, and it is pleasant to review this synergy.
The Power Pink option is also daring, while the gray gray feels subtle and discreet if you prefer not to wear something flashy to the gymnasium.
A new semi-pro option
With PowerBeats Pro 2 sitting above him as the real ear model for hardcore athletes, PowerBeats now clearly adapts the more compact sport option adapted to the daily life. They are at a price of $ 200, as the outgoing pro fit, you do not pay additional for refinements.
For most people who run, bike or just want buds that will not move on the treadmill, they have a big balance: lighter and smaller than the PowerBeats Pro 2, but safer than the AirPods.

You do not get wireless load on the case, but the battery life is a little better than the AirPods Pro 3.

PowerBeats Fit looks like what Beats Fit Pro has always wanted to be: a sporting headboard that is more comfortable and easier to pocket, with a bold look. The sound has not changed, and that’s good – it was already good enough for the target audience.
If you have already done pro and you are satisfied with them, you probably don’t need to rush and upgrade unless the small case or the softer adjustment solves a pain point for you. But if you have been on the fence, or if you like the idea of matching your headphones to your new Orange iPhone, this update makes a solid argument to give the Beats Sport Buds another look.
PowerBeats Fit is now available for $ 200 in the United States, with store availability from October 2.
