Freddie Freeman injured as Dodgers are swept by Brewers, again

When Clayton Kershaw signed a one -year contract with the Dodgers last February, it seemed that it could have made the start of a goodbye tour. The left -handed would make one more trip to the league, then settled in a rocking chair and waited for the renowned temple to call.
Instead, Kershaw showed lightning of the launcher who won three Cy Young prizes in four seasons, although he is now doing on cunning and guts more than curve balls and cursors. On Sunday, however, he was defeated by his defense during a 6-5 defeat against the Brewers of Milwaukee.
It was the third defeat of the Dodgers in as many games since the stars break and the 10th in a dozen games in total, the worst collapse of 12 team games since 2018.
And the losses also continue to climb other ways, Freddie Freeman supporting a contusion in the left wrist after being struck by a field of José Quintana in sixth round. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that the Freeman’s wrist X was negative and that the first base player is considered day -to -day.
Freeman is one of the leaders of the Dodgers on average in the stick (0.292) and is third of points (47) and successes (95). With the team that already missed the third goal Max Muncy and the public service player Kiké Hernández, the possibility of losing Freeman for any section would be an important blow.
The game ended with the Betts Mookie which collapses on the central field with the loaded bases.
Dodgers’ rotation was also beaten by an injury, which is why Kershaw’s performance was so important. Despite the first seven weeks of the season, he ranked third in the team with 11 departures and abandoned two points deserved or less in eight of them – including Sunday, when he dispersed five strokes in 4 1/3 sleeves, leaving the match with the score equally 3-3 in the fifth.

Kershaw, who left without a decision, would have launched an error longer to launch by the third basic player Tommy Edman and a flying ball badly played by the central field player Andy Pages did not extend the fourth round of the Brewers twice, forcing Kershaw to launch 29 locations in the Channel. And he fought to go so far, working with a quick bullet which rarely exceeded 90 mph and a curve that he bounced on the plate more than once.
“It’s just talking to the guy,” said Roberts before the match. “Even when he doesn’t have his best that day, he does what is called each time.”
“It has been adjusted, with regard to the use of all its mixture of pitch,” continued Roberts. “It incorporates many more terrains and tries to keep the guys more on a particular whole, attacking guys differently.”
The Dodgers (58-42) gave Kershaw an early advance with a third of three points. The pages led with a double to the left, then scored on an online driving sacrifice fly by Dalton Rushing. After Betts followed with only one, Shohei Ohtani cut a 2-0 lead on the left slip wall for the head of the league Sound 34th Home Run.
The defense put the three points back in the fourth with an error in launching two outings from Edman by letting run and pages in poorly playing a bullet which rebounded on his glove near the warning track in the center for a double link.
Esteury Ruiz’s first circuit stroke for the Dodgers put them in the lead in the fifth, but the Brewers (59-40) went ahead to stay in sixth, marking three times the Lights Alex Vesia and Lou Trivino (3-1) in double, three single and a walk.

The Dodgers enclosure on average earned on average 4.38 is 12th in the national league of 15 teams. The team has not obtained an aimless match from its lift enclosure since July 3.
After the single in the inner field of Rushing was charged with rushing shot the dodgers to a race in the ninth, Betts, which was raised in place of the head in order to put an end to a crisis which had seen it begin in July to strike. He finished one for five, spending his average to .240.
Notes: The Blake Snell and Blake Treinen launchers made rehabilitation appearances for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday. Snell, who appears on the injured list since April 6, due to the inflammation of the left shoulder, made 58 launchers in four sleeves, abandoning a point on four strokes while removing six. It was his third appearance in rehabilitation. Treinen, since April 19 with a forearm strain, followed with a fifth perfect round in which he withdrew two. He could return to the list of dodgers this week.
