Garmin’s new watch is an update of its line. Venu 3 was one of the best lifestyle watches of the brand, and the Venu X1, launched Earlier this yearwas a premium version. Now there is a coming 4, available on September 22 – and he has a flashlight.
Essential price and features
Venu 4 is available in two sizes (41 and 45 millimeters), the same as the sizes of the 3 and 3 coming respectively. It costs $ 100 more than the old version, the coming 4 to $ 549.99 compared to the coming 3 to $ 449.99.
Like his predecessor, the coming 4 has a In love Touch screen, stainless steel bezel, Gorilla Glass 3 face and a speaker and a microphone that allow it to take vocal calls if your phone is within reach.
He adds training status, preparation for training and Garmin’s coach for four different activities: running, cycling, strength and a new fitness coach. Here is an overview of some of the new notable features:
Flashlight
It’s a simple thing, but a big one for many people. Garmin used to book LED flashlights for his open -air adventure watches – the Instinct at the bottom of the range and the fenix on the high -end, but the Forerunner 970 has oneAnd it seems to have gone well. Even Amazfit added a flashlight to its T-REX 3 PRO. Venu 3 did not have pocket lamp, but the premium Come x1 The fact, and now the coming 4 too.
State of health
A new metric of health combines your nocturnal vital signs (heart rate, VRC, skin temperature and pulse oxygen) and tells you if these are consistent with what is normal for you, or if they tend to move away from your usual basic base.
What do you think so far?
Lifestyle journalization
Garmin has just collected your data and displayed it, without the type of lifestyle analysis provided by others like Cry And Bevel. But Venu 4 comes with a lifestyle journalization function, where you can take note of habits and behaviors and see if they affect your measurements. (An example that Garmin gives is journalization when you have caffeine late during the day, so you can see how it affects your sleep measurements.)
Fitness coach
Garmin’s daily suggested training are no longer reserved for runners and cyclists. There is a relatively new force coach (I have it on my precursor watches for some time now) and the coming 4 adds a fitness coach who can recommend training sessions from one of the 25 activities. A day training session could recommend that you walk, do a HIIT session or get on the rowing machine.
Accessibility characteristics
The coming was already one of Garmin’s most friendly watches, with a wheelchair mode in addition to walking and racing training. Venu 4 adds a spoken watch face option, which will read you time using the speaker and an option to filter the colors of the screen.
