Georgia businessman’s Charlie Kirk tribute billboard goes viral

The tribute to a Georgia business sign to Charlie Kirk attracts national attention following the recent murder of the founder of Turnout Point USA.

Wayne Robinson, president of Wayne Robinson Holdings, has a Steak N Shake location in Rome, Georgia. The 1950s inspired chain serves milkshakes and burgers, and the location of Rome is one of the hundreds across the country.

Robinson told Fox News Digital that he was devastated after Kirk was fatally shot in the neck while speaking to public members of the University of Utah Valley on September 10.

“I have always been a follower of Charlie,” said Robinson, noting that he was impressed by Kirk’s debates with students on university campuses.

“He brought so many of these young people to Christ. … He touched me, and when the assassination happened, it was something that really bore heavy on me.”

The day after Kirk’s death, Robinson was forced to act quickly. He alerted one of his marketing partners to “put something there to honor Charlie”.

The display panel indicates: “Charlie Kirk, 1993-2025”, followed by words, “stand, talk, stay daring”.

“I don’t think he would never have thought, in his wildest dreams, the answer that would have taken place after being murdered.”

In a few days, the answer became viral with millions of likes on X – and Robinson said that the local response “was phenomenal”.

“I think that has 58,000 local comments. … People in the peripheral areas [are] To say that they are going to go to my store just for lunch, dinner, just to pay tribute to what I did for Charlie, “he said.

Robinson’s location was not the only Steak N Shake spot which received a client outpouring after the display panel has become viral.

After the representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA., Who represents Rome, shared an image of the posting panel on social networks, people across the country said they would patronize the chain.

“Eat at Steak ‘N Shake because they have set up a Display Panel by Charlie Kirk,” wrote a person on X. “It’s the second time this week, all because I saw that they have put a display panel in honor of Charlie.”

“They should be rewarded for this with our business,” said another.

Robinson said his store had received calls across the country from Michigan to Wisconsin in California, just to thank you.

“They took the time to find us physically, find our phone number at the store and call to thank you for doing it,” he said.

Robinson said the Steak’s headquarters’ N Shake had contacted it shortly after the billboard has become viral.

“They said,” You know, you are supposed to get everything ok through the business when you use the name of Steak ‘n shaking, but we really like it “”, recalls Robinson.

“He reached [the Steak ‘n Shake owner] And he loved it so much that he asked if they could have permission … to do it across the country. “”

Steak ‘N Shake did not immediately respond to the request for comments from Fox News Digital.

Although Robinson is always saddened by Kirk’s death, he said he thought that the 31 -year -old heritage “reached a lot of people and changed a lot of mind”.

“He started a revival through the country that was so necessary,” said Robinson.

“I don’t think he would never have thought, in his wildest dreams, the answer that would have taken place after being murdered,” he added. “But the movement is great … and I appreciate everything he did.”
