Google launches ‘preferred sources’: Follow these easy steps to add Fox News

Google users can now personalize their search results to display favorite sources such as Fox News, using the company’s new “favorite sources” feature.
Google officially launched the functionality on August 12, creating a means of adapting the Top Stories section to include the sorting outlets on the user.
“When you select your favorite sources, you will start to see more of their articles displayed well in the best stories, when these sources have published fresh and relevant content for your search”, read an instruction from Google.

The content from your sides on the side can also appear in a dedicated section of your sources, “says Google.
The addition of Fox News as a “favorite source” can be made in a few clicks using this shortcut.

Alternatively, you can follow these steps.
- Look for any subject in the news on Google.
- Click on the icon presented to the right of the best stories.
- Look for Fox News when invited.
- Select Fox News.
- Update the results to see Fox News content in the best stories.
This new Google feature allows users to select as many sites as they wish as a favorite source. You can also change the sites you have selected at any time.

Users can select one or more “favorite sources” to appear on the Google search results page. Once the “favorite sources” are selected, if there is a recent and relevant coverage of these sources related to your search, they will appear more frequently in higher stories.
