Google’s NotebookLM can now make narrated slideshows with AI

Google NoteBooklm obtains a new video view feature that uses AI to create slideshow with a narration. The functionality takes place now in English, and Google says that the management of “more languages” is coming soon.
“You can think about it as a visual alternative to audio previews: the AI host creates new visuals to help illustrate points while drawing images, diagrams, quotes and numbers of your documents”, according to a blog article. “This makes it only effective to explain the data, demonstrate processes and make abstract concepts more tangible.” Google plans to introduce “additional formats” in the future. Based on a demonstration video, video previews have practical reading controls such as the possibility of jumping back and forth from 10 seconds and defining the reading speed.
Google also announces updates to the Studio tab of notebooklm, where you can make sure that the application generates things like audio and video previews, study guides and information documents. The biggest change is that you will be able to “create and store several studio outputs of the same type in a single laptop”, which means that you can make several audio glimps all the information referenced from the notebook from which you work.
The Studio tab also gets a visual refreshment – it will have four tiles at the top to make audio previews, video skills, mental cards and reports, known as Google. The studio changes will deploy “in the coming weeks” to all users.
