Hailey Bieber Wore Moody Lip Gloss Nails on the Grammys Red Carpet
The devil (in the details) works hard, but Hailey Bieber’s manicure works harder. Bieber attended the 68th Annual Grammy Awards with a manicure that perfectly matched his lip combo and required a combination of four iconic shades to achieve.
Zola Ganzorigt, Bieber’s go-to nail artist, shared the secret recipe for our new favorite nail color: a glossy mauve with brown highlights that also makes for universally flattering lips. To match Bieber’s blurred lip look, she mixed the classic OPI shades “Barefoot In Barcelona”, “Cliffside Karaoke”, “You Don’t Know Jacques!” ” and, unexpectedly, “Big Apple Red.” (Let’s all say thank you, not only for the nail inspiration, but for the free color theory lesson.)
Although you might expect a glossy pink from a “glossy lip manicure,” Bieber’s moodier version fits perfectly into the cloudy lip trend we’ve been seeing on every red carpet this awards season. Celebrities like Jenna Ortega and Zoë Kravitz have also worn deeper, ’90s-inspired shades and blurred lip lining — a look that makeup artist Kelly Zhang told us we’ll see a lot more of in 2026. “Instead of a sharp contour, we soften and diffuse the edges for a natural, lived-in finish,” she previously said. Charm.
