Here Is What’s in the New Public iOS 26 Beta

Apple’s first public version for iOS 26 is officially here. If you were waiting to test new features, such as the overhaul of Apple’s liquid glass, discover the revised safari or try the translation live, it’s now your luck.
But this first public beta version is not the first iteration of iOS 26. In fact, Apple tested this software for developers from WWDC in June, which was more than six weeks ago. Meanwhile, the company came out with four different versions of the beta developer, each with its own features and changes. Most of the basic characteristics and attributes of the iOS 26 remain the same, but they came with new additions each time, such as the Apple switch on the transparency of liquid glass, and a new ringing which was not present in the previous beta version.
Apple Beta’s fourth developer abandoned this week on Tuesday and, in this case, is exactly the same update as public beta testers are trying today. These are the key changes that apply to the two versions of the beta version, for anyone from the iOS 26 Beta 3 developer.
Liquid glass is more translucent
Apple tried to find its sole with liquid glass, and it was a bit of the roller coaster. When the first beta version dropped, people complained that the glassy effect lacked visibility, especially when there were a lot of things on the screen. During the following two beta, Apple reduced the translucent of the effect, to the point where it looked more like frosted glass than liquid glass.
However, the tide seems to go back in the other direction. Dev Beta 4 and Public Beta 1 now present a liquid glass more glass.

Notification summaries for news are back
Apple’s attempt to summarize notifications and alerts with AI had difficult times. There was time for the alerts to summarize the partner of a user who broke with them before they had the chance to read the real messages themselves. But worse still, the characteristic mistakenly summarized a title of the BBC, which gave the impression that the ass career United Aefit Luigi Mangione died in prison by suicide. After the incident, Apple disabled the functionality of any alert in new and entertainment categories.
You will see after having installed the last beta iOS 26, however, that the notification summaries for the news and the entertainment are back. Not only do these summaries wear the same police in italics as the other summaries of Apple’s intelligence, but they also come with a clear message: “Summary by Apple Intelligence”. As such, it should be obvious that any summary could be false, because AI has the bad habit of doing things from time to time.
12 new wallpapers for Carplay
IOS 26 presents new features for carplay users, including widgets, live activities and a new dynamic interface. With the latest beta version, you also have your choice of one of the six new colors: blue, brown, gray, green, purple and red, each with options for a light or dark theme. It is indeed 12 new wallpapers for Carplay.

Password and passwords
As spotted by MacRumors, the Password application offers a new option called “Authorizing website contact”. When you activate this, passwords will contact websites privately for two reasons: one, to display updated icons for applications and websites for which you have saved items; And two, to check if the website supports Passkeys.
In addition, you will also see a new prompt “Enter your access code” when accessing your ID -FACE parameters and access code.
What do you think so far?
Screen updates of unknown appellants
Screen Unknown Callers is excellent new feature in iOS 26 to eliminate unimportant calls or spam. With the latest beta version, Macrumors also discovered that Apple added new options to this parameter. Now you can choose “ask the reason to call” to ask iOS the reason for the call; “Silence” to silence the unknown number; Or “never” to keep the functionality completely extinct.
The weather can use important locations
“Important locations” allows your iPhone to follow the places you often visit. The objective is to learn where your most important locations are and to offer relevant services on various applications.
You can deactivate this feature if it makes you slide, but it seems that time now benefits in the latest beta iOS 26 version. Macrumors has found a new switch “to use important locations” in Weather’s settings, which allows it to access your home and your work addresses from contacts, as well as destinations that you are probably visiting.
The framework does not come into more detail than that, but it seems obvious that the functionality is intended to warn you of the weather for any important location, iOS thinks that you could direct yourself. If iOS thinks that you could go to work, it could send you an alert that it rains near your office, then bring an umbrella.
IOS 26 wallpapers are now dynamic
Apple continues to adjust its wallpapers for iOS 26. Last beta, the company has added new color options. Now Macrumors has found that wallpapers are dynamic. This means that they will change throughout the day.
