Hisense has revealed its MiniLED TV lineup for 2026, including the U6 and U7 series, which offer full local dimming and quantum dot color.

The U7 and U6 are the step-down models of the RGB MiniLED UR8, announced by Hisense at CES 2026.

The Chinese company says its U7 offers “MiniLED performance typically reserved for higher price points.” It includes its Hi-QLED MiniLED Pro backlight with full local dimming, a technology that can turn the backlight on or off in specific areas for better contrast. The U7 features a native 165Hz refresh rate and image processing via the company’s Hi-View AI Engine Pro.

The TV features a 50-watt 2.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos audio system and is available with your choice of smart system: Google TV (U7SG) or Fire TV (U7SF). The U7 is available in sizes from 55 to 116 inches.

Meanwhile, the U6 TV features the company’s Hi-QLED MiniLED with full local dimming, Quantum Dot color and AI picture mode. The TV has an audio system with a built-in subwoofer and is available in sizes from 55 to 100 inches with built-in Fire TV.

In 2025, the entry-level QD7 won CNET’s Best Budget TV award, so both of these mid-range TVs are very promising in terms of value for money.

The TVs are currently rolling out, although the site currently says “Coming Soon,” while Hisense says the TVs will be arriving at Amazon and other retailers soon. The company adds that the U6 will be rolled out in the coming weeks.
