House GOP rejects last-ditch bid by Clintons to escape contempt vote

The chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee plans to advance a contempt vote in Congress against former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Wednesday after rejecting a last-minute invitation to interview them in New York.
