House of the Dragon Season 3 teaser gives fiery glimpse of the Battle of the Gullet
Looking to fill the Westeros-shaped hole in your heart after A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Does it end this Sunday? Don’t worry : Dragon House Season 3 arrives in June and its first teaser promises a fiery and bloody confrontation between Team Black and Team Green.
Dragon House Season 2 ended with the promise of big changes to come. Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) traveled to Dragonstone and told Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) that she would relinquish the Red Keep to her if Rhaenyra and her new dragon riders came to King’s Landing.
Elsewhere, Triarchy forces sailed toward Westeros in hopes of breaking Corlys Velaryon’s (Steve Toussain) naval blockade. At George RR Martin fire and bloodthe ensuing clash becomes known as the Battle of the Gullet, and according to the teaser, it finally makes it to the screen.
The teaser shows Rhaenyra’s forces, including her son Jacaerys (Harry Collett) and her dragon Vermax, opening fire on the Triarchy’s ships. The spectacle is as terrifying as it is glorious.
This is not the only action Dragon House The teaser for season 3 promises. From an open field battle to Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) engaged in combat with the forces of House Hightower, it seems Westeros is trapped in an inevitable spiral of war. Maybe I should just watch Dunk (Peter Claffey) and Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell) hang out again to de-stress.
Dragon House premieres in June on HBO and HBO Max.
