How much does the Roborock Saros Z70 cost? And should you buy it?

It is unlikely that many people had a robot emptiness with an entire arm on their bingo card these 2025. But alas, Roborock gave us one: the Roborock Saros Z70, which regularly costs $ 2,599. It’s stiff but planned, since current high -end Roborocks without robotic members go more than $ 1,500 (a few hundred less if they are on sale).
Where can you buy the Roborock Saros Z70?
If you are on the market for a new robot vacuum cleaner – and you are open to buy one at the most expensive end of the spectrum – you still have a lot of time to decide if the arm is exaggerated even for you. Roborock Saros Z70 began to ship in April 2025 and is currently available for purchase on Amazon, Best Buy and the Roborock website. The Roborock site is the only place that sported the first big discount of the Z70 Saros: it was $ 1,000 in reduction for a few days in August and September.
What is so special in Roborock Saros Z70?
The Roborock Z70 goes beyond the small obstacle avoidance technology which has become a must for navigation in the best vacuum of the robot, instead of the bulldozer in the obstacle deletion technology. It works with an omnigrip robotic arm that unfolds from the top of the robot vacuum cleaner to grasp the style of the obstacle label machine, and drop it into an nearby area. The live demo of CES 2025 presented the Z70 by putting socks in a basket.

I tried the robot vacuum cleaner of $ 2,600 with a mechanical crane arm, and it’s absurd
Since then, I have had the Saros Z70 at home for several months, and I was disappointed (but not surprised) that the robotic arm does not make your life easier. The arm collection capacities have been announced to cover four different types of obstacles and must weigh less than 300 grams: socks, paper, small towels and light shoes (no pet toys). The arm works technically sometimes – I have successfully seen it pick up sandals and socks – but other times it is completely lacking in obstacles. Half -cooked innovation had good intentions, but for the moment, is only another robot vacuum cleaner that is trying to do too much.

People more influenced by the practicality than a successful high -tech functionality could find the greatest seizure here to be the incredible 22,000 PA of Z70 suction power. It is 12,000 PA more powerful than the Roborock Qrevo Master, my favorite global vacuum of the 2024 robot which cleans with 10,000 PA, and also beats the suction power of any Romberba that I tested in the long term.
The Saros Z70 is not the only new Roborock 2025 vacuum
Roborock also announced two other combos of flagship vacuum cleaners and vadraves in the Saros line which is armless, which each makes a much more digestible price for the average cleaning. Since the first writing of this story in January, I have been able to test the Saros 10 and Saros 10r at home for several months. The two sell $ 1,599.99 (in accordance with my original price prediction) but were on sale for $ 1,299.99 towards the end of the summer of 2025. In the current state of things, I think that Roborock Saros 10R is the best vacuum of the robot that you can buy today.
As an anxious cat mother, I like my robot vacuum with a live camera
Rather than counting on the rotary laser tower at the top of many robot vacuum vacuum vacuums alone to assess the walls and furniture in the room, the Roborock Saro 10r maneuvers using double light 3D technology and RGB cameras supplied in AI. It is a fancy conversation for a more meticulous 3D map of your home and a more precise detection of small obstacles which can be located on the cleaning path – so even without the arm, it is always a big step in the autonomous navigation service. The AI itself is also improved for more precise recognition and constantly improving the most delicate obstacles, including small toys and loose and unfolded cables. It can’t cleanse below Like the Z70s, although this could be an obvious sacrifice depending on the price difference between the two.

Regarding cleaning, the Saros 10r cleans with 20,000 PA of suction power, while the similar Saros 10 cleans with the same suction power of 22,000 PA as the Saros Z70. But for me, the biggest difference between the SAROS 10 and SAROS 10R is actually linked to cleaning-I compared the two models in head in my apartment to help you choose one.
