How The Iran War May Play A Role in the Midterms

The consequences of the war in Iran could play a role in the mid-term elections, particularly in economic matters. Panelists on Washington Week with the Atlantic we joined last night to discuss this and much more.
“People have been feeling gloomy about the economy for a very long time,” said Idrees Kahloon, an editor at The Atlanticargued last night. But the conditions created by the war in Iran, like its effects on the global oil market, he added, do not correspond “to the set of economic priorities that you would want to present before going to the midterm elections.”
