Subway’s Qatar development rights go to Alamtiazat Al Alamyah Food Stuff

Subway has signed a new master franchise agreement with Alamtiazat Al Alamyah Food Stuff, giving the company sole responsibility for the operation and development of all of the sandwich chain’s locations in Qatar.
Alamtiazat Al Alamyah Food Stuff is part of Al Mana International Holding and already operates several Subway outlets in the country.
She has been involved locally with the brand as part of a development agreement since 2010 and manages a broader portfolio of international fast food concepts.

“With a proven track record of operating Subway restaurants, Alamtiazat Al Alamyah Food Stuff is perfectly positioned to accelerate its growth and welcome even more customers to the region. »
The company is expected to implement the current Subway restaurant design and continue to upgrade digital operations at new and existing restaurants, with a focus on operational performance and service levels.

“As a globally recognized brand with a distinctive offering, Subway has set the standard for fresh, quality dining in Qatar and together we are committed to providing an exceptional experience for every customer.”
This agreement is part of Subway’s broader strategy in the Middle East.
Since 2021, the chain has entered into six master franchise agreements in the region, which have generated commitments for more than 800 new outlets.
Globally, Subway has entered into more than 25 master franchise agreements during the same period, with plans for more than 10,000 new restaurants.
