ICE Snags Convicted Moldovan Killer – RedState
This is what we voted for: Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested a Moldovan woman, Victoria Sorocean, who was convicted of murder in her native country and fled to the United States to avoid prison time. Her crime in Moldova was particularly brutal, but that didn’t stop the Biden administration from releasing her in the United States.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the arrest of a Moldovan illegal immigrant and convicted killer who tortured and threw a victim out of a ninth-story window.
Victoria Sorocean was arrested in Los Angeles on November 4 by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) learned that she was convicted of premeditated murder with exceptional cruelty in 2013, ICE told Fox News on Tuesday.
According to DHS, Sorocean and an accomplice tortured their victim in an apartment in Chisinau, Moldova, by beating her with a stick and an electric cable before throwing her out of a ninth-floor window.
Here’s the part that should make every American angry; remember, this is a convicted murderer:
She was sentenced to 17 years in prison but fled the country to avoid serving her sentence.
Sorocean was first arrested by ICE on Jan. 10, 2020, during the first Trump administration, but she later filed several legal appeals and asylum applications to delay her deportation, DHS said.
Officials said she was eventually released into the United States in 2022 under the Biden administration.
So, long story short, she tried to stay in the United States by filing false asylum applications – a convicted murderer, remember? And then the Biden administration, in 2022, just… Let it go.

Did I mention she was a convicted murderer? Not just a murderer; With her accomplice, she first tortured, then murdered her victim.
And given the chance, the useful idiots of Antifa and the aging hippies we see at anti-ICE events would prevent the United States from giving Victoria Sorocean precisely the treatment she deserves, namely her return to Moldova to face the music. It is something completely incomprehensible to anyone with any common sense that people would oppose the repatriation of any illegal alien, but of a convicted criminal? She should have been returned to Moldova immediately after her arrest in 2020, and she certainly should never have been randomly thrown into the United States to flee freely.
Department of Homeland Security Deputy Secretary Tricia McLaughlin had a thing or two to say on the matter:
“It shocks the conscience that the Biden administration released into America a cruel and violent illegal alien who tortured a human being, beat him with an electrical cord and a stick, and then threw his victim out of a ninth-story window,” DHS Deputy Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement.
“These are the types of barbaric criminal illegal aliens that ICE targets every day,” she added. “Seventy percent of all ICE arrests are of illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the United States”
Victoria Sorocean is now in ICE custody and is being repatriated to Moldova, where there is no doubt that authorities will be waiting for her when her flight lands. And all we can say is “good riddance.”
