Infant girl pulled from Lake Michigan, pronounced dead

Chicago police conduct a death survey after a little girl was taken from the water near a beach on the south side on Saturday morning.
The police said that the baby, who had not yet been identified, had been recovered from Lake Michigan in Bloc 5700 by South Dusable Lake Shore Drive just before 11:30 am, she was declared dead on the scene, the police said.
A 31 -year -old was also declared dead after being taken from the water near the 63rd street around 2:30 p.m.
The detectives conduct an investigation into death in both cases, awaiting autopsies, the police said.
