Invasive long -term tick species have new health risks while scientists warn that it could potentially lead to ehrlichiosis infection, a bacterial infection that could be fatal if it is not treated. The increase in temperatures means shorter winters and more possibilities of tick stings in at least 21 states where the species has been identified.
