While Dortmund are pushing for the 23-year-old Germany international to sign a new contract, any deal currently remains far from being done. As such, United continue to monitor developments with Adeyemi, who has two goals in 10 Bundesliga matches this season and has been at the club since July 2022. According to Sky Germany, Adeyemi and his agent, Jorge Mendes, hope to include a release clause in any extension.
