iPhone 17 Pro: Wild Orange Color, Bigger Zoom, A19 Pro Chip for $1,099
The iPhone 17 Pro was officially unveiled as part of the September “Awe Droping” event, alongside the basic iPhone 17 and the new Iphone Super-Skinny. Although the new Cosmic Orange color is certainly the catchy update of the PRO line, Apple’s new flagship products have upgrades at all levels, including a new super -supervised A19 A19 processor and a longer zoom camera.

iPhone 17 PRO: Design and display
The biggest physical change is on the back of the phone. The camera unit now extends over the top of the phone rather than just occupying a small square in the area. The cameras themselves are always grouped in the same place as before, although Apple says that the enlarged space gives more space for the batteries and for the camera of telephoto update update, which I will arrive later.

Pro models are now built of aluminum, instead of titanium frames that have made their debut on the iPhone 15 Pro. From the front, the phones remain almost indistinguishable from previous models, with only the dynamic island breaking the display in the small cutting towards the top. The new range brings new colors; However, the Dynamic Orange model is my favorite. I found that the iPhone Pro range often takes a little too seriously, based on darker or more deaf tones. This new orange color affirming life looks in my street.
iPhone 17 Pro: cameras
Pro cameras had a series of important upgrades. The optical zoom is now 8x, doubling the zoom beach on the latest model. It offers an equivalent focal length of 200 mm, which will be ideal for photographers who really want to enter the action remotely. The telephoto lens camera sensor is 56% larger than before and offers 48 megapixels of resolution.
The equipment of the other cameras is however largely unchanged, without any physical change of the sensors in the main or ultra-remedy cameras, and the three cameras offer 48 megapixels. However, the front camera has been updated with a new 18 megapixel sensor in square format which makes it possible to cultivate in a horizontal or landscape orientation and better digital stabilization in the video.
Video shooters were not forgotten either; Pro phones can now shoot Apple’s Prors RAW codec – an existing Prore Codec update which captures much more data at the capture point, allowing a deeper and more precise post -processing. Prores RAW, as Apple explains, is a standard of industry in professional film productions and seeing it on a phone is wild. As a photographer, video producer and youtuber, I am excited.
iPhone 17 Pro: A19 Pro processor
The A19 Pro processor has an improved CPU and GPU, which, according to Apple, can reach 40% better performance than the iPhone 16 Pro. Keeping things cool is a new thermal management system that includes a steam chamber that uses deionized water to actively cool the phone as it is hot. The aluminum alloy also dissipates heat 20x better than the titanium design of the previous models.
iPhone 17 Pro: iOS 26
The iPhone 17 range will be launched with the latest iOS 26 software on board. We played with iOS 26 in its early beta form, and the biggest changes are the look of the software. Apple’s new “Liquid Glass” design relies on the transparency of glass in its menus and notification panels to obtain a brighter and more modern look.
According to the images that I have seen so far, I am quite interesting on the style. Blake Stimac de Cnet tested the beta version and says: “Under all this, liquid glass does not reinvent the wheel, and that’s a good thing.” I find it encouraging. I cannot be disturbed to learn my way around an entirely new operating system, but I am happy to see adjustments that keep things fresh.
iPhone 17 pro: battery
Apple says that the iPhone 17 Pro is packing the biggest battery of all time on an iPhone, which, therefore, offers the best battery life from any iPhone. The company was not precise on the size of this battery, but as always, we will be eager to see how it works.
