Jaguars Fred Taylor not among 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame finalists

The 15 finalists for the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame class were announced on Tuesday, and not included was former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor.

Taylor was among the semifinalists for this year’s Hall of Fame class.

Taylor played 11 seasons with the Jaguars, where he rushed for 11,271 yards and scored 70 total touchdowns. Taylor made one Pro Bowl and was a second-team All-Pro in 2007 as well.

Taylor’s 11,271 career rushing yards are the 18th-most in NFL history. He played 13 seasons in the NFL, the final two of which came with New England.

Taylor was among the 15 finalists in 2024 and 2025.
