Eric Dane vows to ‘fight to the last breath’ against ALS in visit to Washington

Eric Dane promised to “fight until the last breathing” in his battle with the SLA while chatting with the legislators of Washington, DC last week.

“ALS is the last thing he wants to diagnose anyone. So often it takes all this time to make these people diagnosed, well, so that prevents them from being part of these clinical trials,” said 52-year-old representative Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., In a video that the legislator posted on Tiktok.

He revealed in the interview that his daughter had saved him when he was swimming in the ocean after his diagnosis and realized that he could no longer stay afloat.

“When I jumped into the ocean that day and I realized that I couldn’t swim [or] Generate enough power to get back to the boat, I said to myself: “Oh, God”. And then I realized at that time that I am no longer safe in the water, “he said.

He developed: “I have a functional arm. My dominant side. My left side works, my right side has completely stopped working. I may feel a couple, a few more months, and I won’t have my left hand either.”

He also told Sawyer that he was ready to go to extreme measures to treat his illness.
