Judge issues injunction preventing Trump’s FTC from investigating watchdog Media Matters

A judge of the Washington American district court published an injunction preventing the Federal Trump Administration Commerce Commission by investigating media issues for America, the Liberal Media Surveillance Organization
Washington – A federal judge has published an injunction preventing the Trump Federal Trade Commerce Commission from investigating media issues for America, the Liberal Media Surveillance Group that had alleged the propagation of the speech of hatred on X since Elon Musk acquired the social media platform.
The judge of the American district court Sparkle L. SOOKNANAN judged on Friday that the investigation into the media issues of the FTC, “allegedly to investigate advertisers concerning social media platforms”, represents a clear violation of the group’s freedom of expression.
“This should alarm all Americans when the government retaliated against individuals or organizations to engage in a public debate protected by the Constitution,” wrote Sooknanan.
Even before the FTC is getting involved, Media Matters defended itself against a musk trial after the history of November 2023 of the organization which, following the purchase by Musk of the social media site, formerly known as Twitter, anti-Semitic publications and other offensive content appeared next to the advertisements there.
Sooknanan said that the injunction prohibiting all FTC probe was deserved because Media Matters is likely to succeed in which the FTC is used to retaliate against a critical article on a supporter of Trump.
“The court’s decision demonstrates the importance of fighting for folding, which too much faces the intimidation of the Trump administration,” said Angelo Carusone, president and president of Media Matters.
There was no immediate comments from a spokesperson for the FTC.
