Justin Herbert interception dooms Chargers in loss to Washington

What was formerly points have become penalties.
The affected have been replaced by reversals.
The loads, after a departure from 3-0, took a discouraging turnover, losing consecutive matches and suddenly groping for answers only five weeks from the NFL season.
The latest setback arrived on Sunday with a 27-10 defeat against Washington commanders, a match that had all the characteristics of this season of the Whipsaw charges.
They scored the first 10 points, then made a 27 unanswered.
“We are preparing all week, the coaches focus on concentration and discipline every day,” said Derwin James. “To go out and not execute, not play disciplined, it’s disappointing.”
The greatest coordination that the charges showed all day was their hasty release of the Sofi stadium, an SUV by following the owner Dean Spanos, followed by a pair of whistling golf carts in front of the locker room. One wore the left -wing left hob Joe Alt, reduced to a spectator with his high ankle sprain. Rolling at the back of the second cart was the Omarion Hampton recruit balloon, a first -round choice, carrying a protective boot on its left foot. His coach refused to develop this apparent injury.
The franchise that opened the season by directing the table against its three AFC West opponents fell two in a row against the NFC East, the first of these defeats against the New York Giants before without victory.
The charges were penalized 24 times combined in these two defeats against a total of 15 flags during their first three victories.

“Without decomposing everyone, it focuses to concentrate,” said coach Jim Harbaugh. “Know what to do and when to do it. … They are all corrected.”
However, there are only so many hours in a week, and the loaders must repair this plane while they fly it. They go to Miami to play dolphins on Sunday.
“These are concentration, concentration, alignment, assignment and technique,” said the coach. “All the right teams do. These things are in our DNA and our character.”
But who are the chargeers? Is the team enough resilient to fly to Brazil and drop the Kansas City chiefs, then beat the raids in Las Vegas and finish Denver in Los Angeles? Or are they not ready for players at great listening hours who faced two weeks in a row?
They don’t have time to bow on the therapy sofa.

“Everything is contagious, good or bad,” said James. “You get a flag and suddenly, I have the impression of spreading. Each phase had a flag today.”
The charges may have been their own worst enemy on Sunday, but the recruit of Washington Jacory Croskey-Merritt was a second second. He has torn a few points as long as his surname, finishing with 150 yields combined and marking 15 and five yards.
He slipped into the project of how he escapes the defenders, dragging to the seventh round until the commanders take him with the 245th choice in total. He zigzaged across the country at university, playing for Alabama State, New Mexico and Arizona, playing a single match for the Wildcats in his last season due to eligibility problems. This represented him falling into the project.
Anyway, it was all that the charges could manage on Sunday and the response to an offense of the commanders who lacked the star receiver Terry McLaurin.
Although Washington marked a late touch with the match already in hand, a hinge game arrived halfway from the fourth quarter when the charges had the chance to take a big bite of the visitor’s 20-10 advance. As the third goal of the 4th, the quarter-Arrière Justin Herbert pulled a pass for sure Keenan Allen. But the ball was tilted on the melee line, then intercepted by the corner half of Washington Mike Sainristil. The threat was neutralized.

Tip or no point, the cornerback said it was going to end up with interception.
“I was in my area by playing just off Herbert’s eyes and seeing where he was,” said Sainristil. “Honestly, with the tip or not, I think he was going to start just depending on where he was looking for. We made the check that put me in the right place.”
It was the second time in two weeks that Herbert saw a battered pass and picked up.
“Sometimes it’s just bad luck,” said the quarter. “The game was open, the timing and the rhythm felt good, but the defender made a good game by raising his hand. In the red zone, these windows are so tight that there is no margin of error.”
Suddenly, loaders must worry about their own opportunities closing window. Historically, Harbaugh teams are improving in its second season as a coach. Last year’s team has never lost more than two games in a row.
Like almost everyone in the NFL, the charges had problems containing the quarter-rear of Washington Jayden Daniels, who is somewhat slowed down by a trampled knee and a voluminous splint. The OneTime High High Star in San Bernardino launched 231 yards and ran for 39.
In front of the match, the main concern of the charging offense was to protect Herbert, who suffered from 46 drops back in the first four games, more than any quarter of the match, according to Trumedia. He was facing a defense on Sunday which includes the future temple of fame Von Miller and Bobby Wagner.
Herbert creates problems for the defenses with his arm and legs. During the third game of the fray, he detached himself on a race in the middle and picked up 41 yards.
The first training seemed to end with a basket of 29 yards by Cameron Dicker, but the charges had a new life with an offside call in Washington. This offered the charge a first goal to the six, and two games later, Herbert found Ladd McConkey with a pass of two yards for a touchdown.

Allen caught five passes, becoming the 16th receiver in the history of the NFL to accumulate 1,000 career receptions. He entered the Sunday match, needing two catches to reach this important step, and he did it in fewer games than anyone (159), compared to the previous one, the holder of the record Marvin Harrison (167).
“It’s just another distinction,” said Allen with an uptop of shoulders. “Me and [Hall of Fame tight end] Antonio Gates was joking on these files. Some of them feel like invented statistics. The fastest at 1,000? It is definitely a invented statistic.
“You are not growing at 6 or 7 years old saying:” I want to be the first at 1,000 catches in these many games. “”
Instead, he felt the indigestion of defeat.
“Stomach aches, stomach aches, the feeling of hangover,” he said, losing two in a row. “When you fight, it’s the worst type of loss.”
