Justin Timberlake reveals Lyme disease diagnosis

Justin Timberlake revealed that he was living with Lyme disease.

The 44 -year -old said that he was “shocked” to receive the diagnosis, but he explained why he “would be on stage and in a massive quantity of nervous pain or, simply feeling fatigue or crazy disease”.

The Cry river singer shared its diagnosis on Instagram after the conclusion of its global tour of forgetting.

Lyme disease is a bacterial infection that can be propagated to humans by infected ticks. A few people diagnosed and treated for the disease can continue to have symptoms, such as fatigue, ailments and loss of energy, which can last for years.

Timberlake said he had faced the decision to stop his tour early, but finally decided to continue.

By writing on Instagram on Thursday, he said: “As many of you know, I am a fairly private person. But as I think about the tour and the tour of the festival – I want to tell you a little what’s going on with me.

“Among other things, I have fought against certain health problems and I received a diagnosis of Lyme disease – which I do not say, so you feel bad for me – but to shed light on what I clashed behind the scenes.

“If you have suffered from this disease or know someone who did it – then you know: living with this can be relentlessly debilitating, both mentally and physically.”

According to America’s Centers for Disease and Control and Prevention (CDC), patients treated with antibiotics in the early stages of infection are generally recovered quickly and completely.

He adds that most patients treated at subsequent stages respond well to antibiotics, but some may have undergone long -term damage to the nervous system or joints.

Justin Bieber, Shania Twain and Avril Lavigne are among other singers for struggling with Lyme disease.

But Timberlake said that the “joy that performance brings” prevailing it on the stress that his body felt and that he was “happy to have continued”.
