Kate Middleton Stepped Out Wearing 3 Fall Trends at the Same Time
Granny cardigans, with their crew necks and cropped silhouettes, have come for the V-neck cardigan’s most-loved fall sweater title. The trend is perfect for layering, as the Princess of Wales demonstrated by wearing her warm gray cardigan over a black turtleneck.
Barn jackets are still going strong this season, which is great news for the Welsh, who helped popularize the Barbour prototype throughout the mid-20th century. Finally, the boots and skirts combo is particularly “right now” and also particularly practical for cooler temperatures. Paired with a wool skirt, Middleton’s chocolate brown suede boots added a touch more texture to her woodsy look, as did the woven leather belt she wore at her waist.
Another element of Kate Middleton’s new look that we can’t help but notice: her blonde hair seems to have settled into the perfect buttery shade for fall. The princess shocked audiences when she debuted this vibrant shade last month; however, it appeared that she quickly returned to a darker, more familiar shade.
