A hotel worker called 911 to request urgent assistance before the musician Liam Payne died on Wednesday on the third floor of the building in Buenos Aires.
The 31 -year -old British singer and former member of the group of boys One Direction died after “jumped from the balcony of his room,” said communications director of the Ministry of Security of Buenos Aires, Pablo Policchio, to the Associated Press. He added that the police were called to the Casa hotel in the Argentine capital after receiving an emergency call shortly after 5 pm, the local time concerning an “aggressive man who could be under the influence of drugs or alcohol”.
A transcription of a 911 call published by the BBC shows a worker at the hotel saying to the operator that he has “a guest who drugs and who ransacked the room” and that the staff “therefore need someone to come”.
The operator asks the appellant to confirm that the guest in question is “aggressive” and to repeat the name of the hotel, but the call is disconnected before the appellant can answer. In a second call, the employee again explains the problem and expresses the concern that the guest could be in serious danger.
“Well, we have a guest who had too much drugs and alcohol and, well, when he is aware, he ransacked the whole room and we need to send you someone, please,” said the appellant.
When asked to repeat the name of the hotel, calling it rehabilitates the name and adds: “We need you to send someone urgently because, well, I don’t know if his life can be in danger, the life of the guest. He is in a room with a balcony and well, we are a little afraid that he would be … “

The appellant continues to identify himself as Esteban, the main receptionist of the hotel. He also asks if the operator sends the police or simply the emergency medical service (even), asking “simply” to come. “You told me that [the guest] is under the influence of drugs and alcohol and the same is not going alone, ”explains the operator. The call ends shortly after.
Alberto Crescent, the chief of the same one, said that Payne had been found at the hotel with “injuries incompatible with life”, according to Argentina Nacion newspaper. He added that Payne had fallen from “almost 14 meters” or 46 feet, saying that there was “no possibility of resuscitation”. The singer was declared dead on the scene.
The newspaper also indicated that around six minutes have passed between the 911 call and the death of Payne.
