Live updates: 2026 Oregon primary results

Oregon voters will decide the fate of a suite of transportation taxes and pick the next commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries. Republicans and Democrats will pick their nominees for governor, U.S. Senator, six U.S House seats, 60 state House seats and 15 state Senate seats.

Polls close at 8 p.m.

STAYTON – Rep. Ed Diehl, R-Scio, kickstarted his campaign for governor by leading a referendum effort targeting transportation taxes and fees. At his election night party in Stayton, supporters are signing his latest petition to undo parts of a law Democrats passed in the 2026 legislative session that disconnected the state from some of the tax cuts passed under the Trump’s 2025 summer tax and spending law.
