According to WBNS-TV, Young was at least 25 weeks pregnant at the time of filming.
Grubb was charge With murder, manslaughter and assault last year.
Grubb pleaded not guilty and an audience in his criminal case is scheduled for next week.
“Without verification or reasonable investigation, the police have imprudent their response, distinguishing Ms. Young and treating her as a dangerous criminal despite the minor nature of allegations,” said the trial. Grubb had other “aggressive meetings with community members” but has made no significant discipline, according to the complaint.
The trial makes a single request for municipal responsibility and requests damages as well as an injunction to stop the policies that deprived the young and his child to be born of their constitutional rights.
The Young Domaine also continued Grubb, the Kroger Company supermarket chain and one of the store employees last month. This previous trial, submitted in the county of Franklin, makes allegations of unjustified death and negligence.
The trial alleys that Grubb filed several complaints and fault against him dating from June 2023, WBNS-TV reported. Complaints include physical intimidation, inappropriate arrest, appearances in the event of failure, violations of policies and harassment, according to the trial.
Telephone messages requesting comments were left on Wednesday for civil and criminal lawyers for Grubb, as well as police chief John C. Belford and for a lawyer for the canton of Blendon. An email was left for a Kroger spokesperson.
Mark Collins, Grubb lawyer, told journalists after Grubb’s indictment last year that the video showed that Young’s shooting was justified.
“The reason he just released his weapon is because he felt the threat of serious physical injuries after being affected by the car or potential death,” Collins said.
