Man, 81, found dead on rooftop of Brooklyn apartment building

An 81-year-old man was found dead on the roof of a Brooklyn building, police said Sunday.
The victim’s body was discovered on top of a six-story building on Avenue H near New York Avenue in Flatbush around 9:55 a.m. Saturday, police said. His name was not immediately released.
Police could not say Sunday whether his death was linked to the cold or what he was doing on the roof.
On Saturday, 17 people died across the city amid historically cold temperatures that have gripped the city since January 24.
