Man hurt after shooting at bar near Winter Park, deputies say

Orange County deputies are investigating a shooting that happened early Monday morning near Winter Park.

The incident happened around 3 a.m. near the Tequila Lounge on Aloma Avenue.

Deputies said shots were fired and a man in his 30s was injured.

Authorities said it was unclear at this time whether the victim was shot or suffered “another injury.”

When Channel 9 arrived on scene, a large area was cordoned off by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Crime scene tape is blocking off the area while officers work to determine the circumstances of the event.

Beer bottles are visible on the Tequila Lounge tables through the broken front door.

Investigators said the suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
