Massive Flames Roar Above Tehran in Apocalyptic Scene After IDF Blasts Oil Facilities – RedState

The conflict in Iran rages Saturday night/Sunday morning as what remains of the Iranian regime refuses to surrender unconditionally despite Trump’s demand to do so to end the conflict.
He vows that they will face increasingly harsh consequences if they stand their ground, even though the joint Israeli-US airstrikes of Operation Epic Fury have already permanently wiped out (former) Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and many of his tyrannical acolytes from the face of the earth.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) increased the pressure with a massive strike that produced images that look like AI, but are definitely not:
A huge fire was seen near a fuel storage site in Tehran, sending huge plumes of smoke into the night sky.
Dramatic footage from Saturday night shows thick smoke billowing from an area geotagged by CNN to where the Shahran oil storage facility is located in northwest Tehran.
The Israeli army said so hit fuel storage sites in Tehran on Saturday evening. The same oil storage facility was previously struck by Israel in June 2025 during the “12 Day War.”

The flames lit up the sky:
🚨 THE UNITED STATES AND ISRAEL JUST BOMBED A MAJOR OIL DEPOT IN IRAN.
After the airstrike, oil spilled from the depot onto the streets, entered sewers and drainage systems, then caught fire, creating walls of flame on Tehran’s highway.

This is the first major blow to Iran’s oil infrastructure during the war.
The Israeli military confirmed the strikes on Saturday, saying the attack “significantly worsens the damage caused to the Iranian terrorist regime’s military infrastructure.”

Israel and the United States have also continued to hit the rebel Islamic Republic with other attacks, as they attempt to end the sadistic and repressive regime that has ruled the country for 47 years. By attacking its oil infrastructure, they hope to weaken its military capabilities to the point of rendering them incapable of functioning:
U.S. and Israeli forces expanded their bombing raids on Iran on Saturday night, including hitting fuel depots near Tehran, as Iran’s de facto leader vowed to continue retaliatory strikes and make the nation’s enemies “pay the price” for attacking him.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the attacks on fuel depots, which appear to be the first on Iran’s energy infrastructure since the United States and Israel launched strikes against Iran last weekend, were part of Israel’s attempts to hit “many more targets” in order to destabilize the Iranian government and “enable change.”
The Israeli Air Force also destroyed 16 aircraft used by the Quds Force, the elite external operations branch of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The IAF carried out a wave of precise strikes in Tehran, targeting military infrastructure at Mehrabad Airport, a hub used by the IRGC to arm and finance its terrorist proxies across the Middle East. Several Iranian fighter jets were also hit.
Before the strikes, measures were taken to mitigate harm to civilians.
Even if Iran remains defiant, it is difficult to imagine how any regime could withstand this incessant beating night after night. We can only hope that we are witnessing their last breaths and that we will soon enter a new era.
What that will look like, we’ll have to wait and see.
Editor’s note: For decades, past presidents have done nothing but talk. Now, Donald Trump eliminates the Iranian threat once and for all.
