Best Home Depot Black Friday Deals for 2025

You can only truly judge a legally constituted person by their actions. And if stocks are anything to go by, Home Depot really loves Black Friday. The home improvement retail giant has been running its Black Friday sales since early November, a full month of Fridays.
But Home Depot is still holding back some of the big deals of the day, aka today. This includes some in-store interventions just for those who believe that half of the victory is coming. But those of us who fight our wars with keyboards can still spring into action and lazily feel validated for doing so without taking off our slippers.

Tool deals on Milwaukee, DeWalt and others
Over the past month, Home Depot has offered free battery or buy-one-get-one pricing on several Milwaukee tools — the favorite tool ecosystem of WIRED reviewer Scott Gilbertson, who bought as a sustainable, smart investment to utilize Milwaukee’s excellent battery technology. He now vouches for a wide assortment of Milwaukee tools he owns, including impact guns, circular saws and a drywall screw gun.
The most essential tool in the kit, the Milwaukee M18 Fuel Cordless Hex Impact Driver ($179), is on sale as a buy-one-get-one alongside other select Milwaukee tools in a buy-one-get-one deal that also includes the Milwaukee Brushless Cordless Jigsaw ($229) and Cordless Compact Router ($199). Other tools include free batteries with certain tools, or vice versa.
The latest Milwaukee tool deals include a host of direct discounts, including these ridiculously cheap $49 12-volt M12 batteries that typically cost north of $100.
In addition to Milwaukee, some of the biggest new Black Friday deals at Home Depot are on Dewalt tools, including a $99 deal on a 20-volt cordless drill-driver kit that usually costs $179 and a two-tool drill-driver kit for $149.
Or, most of the rest of the DeWalt toolbox remains on sale this month for between 20 and 50 percent off. It’s not the deepest discount on the list, but may I suggest WIRED’s favorite drill and driver kit?
Plus, there are other exclusive deals on Ryobi tools, including a $99 bagless stick vacuum that usually costs $149.
Discounts on Google Nest and other Smart Home devices
A few of WIRED’s best-tested smart home devices from Google Nest are currently on deep discounts at Home Depot, along with discounts on a slew of smart home devices from Ring, Blink and others.
The latest Nest Learning Thermostat is a blockbuster device in its category, and Home Depot’s price matches the lowest I’ve seen at any retailer right now. The Nest is pretty to look at and has no issues with disconnections or irregularities in temperature readings, which are surprisingly common among smart home thermostats. It also offers lots of fun features, including a display that changes depending on your proximity to the device. Better yet, the Nest Thermostat comes with an external temperature sensor that lets you prioritize readings in a specific room (or part of a room). This allowed WIRED reviewer Nena Farrell to adapt the device to her toddler’s room to keep it from getting too stuffy. The larger screen size is also a notable improvement over previous generations, she noted.
The Nest Cam Outdoor 2K requires a little installation: you’ll need to screw in the mount and run a cable. But the camera offers 2K video quality and two-way audio, and doesn’t waste your time with a series of ambiguous notifications like many outdoor cameras: it can accurately detect people, animals, and vehicles. The camera delivers sharp video with a 152-degree field of view. This is the wired outdoor camera that WIRED reviewer Simon Hill recommends above all else, but note that while notifications and live streaming don’t require a subscription, you’ll need a $10 or $20 per month subscription to access more advanced features that include familiar face detection and 30 to 60 days of video history. Either way, it’s a great Black Friday deal at Home Depot, alongside a whole host of other smart home devices.
Home Depot Online Doorbusters for Appliances
Just like Friday lasts a month, Home Depot appliances can be ordered online. This includes deals of $1,000 or more on some door-breaking major appliances. (Isn’t that what “doorbusters” means, after all?)
If you’re tired of your kitchen, there are indeed some very significant price drops, including more than $300 off a GE 5-burner freestanding range, almost half off a Whirlpool refrigerator, and additional discounts for volume purchases. Stack two appliances on sale and you get an extra $200 off. Buy four and you get $1,000 off. More details on this agreement are available here.
