Minnesota Anti-ICE Crew Imitating Iconic WWII Pic Might Be One of Their Most Cringeworthy Moves Yet – RedState
We are seeing a lot of action from the anti-ICE team in Minnesota.
As we reported, some of them were setting up “checkpoints” at intersections to control ICE and prevent ICE from entering the neighborhood. As if that wasn’t enough, they also allegedly assaulted Jorge Ventura of the Daily Caller and his photojournalist, according to Ventura. You can see one of the agitators shoving Ventura on video.
Their actions are really derailed at this point. They think they have the right to stop random people on the street, ask them who they are, or tell them to leave the neighborhood. Meanwhile, these are the same people who are attacking ICE’s actions, even though they are stopping people at checkpoints while they are wearing masks or covering their faces. A stunning lack of self-awareness about how they fare in their own arguments.

The poster must have known he was going to be in trouble with this one because he disabled comments on the video. So much for the courage of Iwo Jima, if you can’t even get a ratio.
But people on X still managed to talk seriously to him in quote tweets. So he couldn’t really avoid the responses and people scolding him for it.
The image is really cheeky, if it was an attempt to compare anti-ICE people to the heroes of Iwo Jima. If they haven’t offended enough people already, they just picked another large group to offend with this.
Anti-ICE people are not worthy of even mentioning these heroes, much less claiming that they are in any way similar. These Marines went through hell, and some died, to defend our country. Anti-ICE people are full of their own self-importance, as far removed from those WWII fighters as possible. It is a mockery of their sacrifice. What the anti-ICE team is doing is harming the country and fighting against the brave people who try to enforce the law.
