Mounjaro stolen from St Albans pharmaceutical company

A large quantity of weight loss medication Mounjaro was stolen from a medical distributor.
Hertfordshire Police said the drug was recovered from Phoenix Healthcare Distribution, on Handley Page Way in St Albans, shortly before 18:40 GMT on Saturday.
People are advised to ensure that they only buy the product from reputable companies as they need to be stored at low temperatures.
Phoenix supplies medicines to more than 6,700 customers across the UK, including community pharmacies.
Det Sgt Yolanda Morales-Willis said: “These weight loss medications need to be stored correctly and are dangerous if not administered in the correct way.
“These and other pharmaceutical products should only be prescribed through a healthcare professional or purchased from registered companies.”
Anyone who is being offered drugs at unusually low prices or by unknown companies is asked to contact Hertfordshire Police.
