Trump says he would have lowered flags for Minnesota slayings if asked. But he didn't call governor

President Donald Trump defended his order according to which the flags were lowered into half-space after the murder of the conservative activist last week, Charlie Kirk, suggesting that he would have done the same after the assassination of minnesota’s democratic state legislator this summer, the state governor had himself been asked.
