The bodies of Emily Long, 34 years old; Ryan Long, 48 years old; Parker Long, 8 years old, and Ryan Long, 6 years old, were found on Monday at the home of Madbury of the family.
Authorities think that in the early hours of the morning, Emily diedly pulled her family before committing suicide, said the office of the prosecutor general of New Hampshire in a press release. The husband died of several shots and the two children died in one shot, the statement said. Their death was tried a homicide.
A third child, a toddler, was found in the unscathed house, said a spokesperson.
The prosecutor’s office said that a reason was still inquiry. According to New Hampshire Union chief, the husband was diagnosed with brain cancer.
Emily Long posted on the diagnosis on her Tiktok account, which was made private after the shots, reported the newspaper.
A spokesperson for the Prosecutor General’s office said that several witnesses had pointed out to them the health battle of Ryan Long, but that they had not seen any medical file.
“While investigators are aware of various concerns / problems underway in the household at the time of the event in question, people should avoid speculating that this event was caused by a single reason or a factor of stress,” the office said in a press release on Wednesday.
Ryan Long was a school psychologist at Oyster River Middle School, reported NBC Boston. Superintendent Robert Shaps told the station in a statement in a statement that the district “has a heart broken by the tragic loss of four members of the community”.
“We extend our deepest sympathies to all those who were affected during this incredibly difficult period,” he said.
Emily Long worked for the local Wing-ITZ restaurant chain.
