Newsom Vows To Pack California’s Conservative Outposts With Dem Voters, New Map Shows

Friday evening, the Democrats of California published a new card of the GERRYMANDERED Chamber which, if it was implemented, would size deep red areas of the State which have been under republican representation for decades.
The California House district map that has been redesigned by the state’s legislature dominated by Democrats – aims to return five republican districts currently in blue, in addition to making seats with the Democrat currently safer. California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom called for a mi-Dennia rediscovery in the state after being reported that Texas would redraw its lines with the intention of overthrowing five seats from the Bleu Maison à Rouge. (Related: “Fetal position”: the attempt by Gerrymander Newsom already released California can be finished before the start)
If it is promulgated, the card would probably lead to a delegation from the California Chamber of 48 Democrats and only four Republicans – which means that the GOP would only control 8% of the seats. Meanwhile, the new Texas proposed card would probably lead to a delegation of 30 Republicans and Eight Democrats – with Democrats probably controlling 21% of seats – still a higher percentage than the 17% of current California House seats owned by Republicans.
🚨🚨 The final project of the California State legislature is now public.

“We plan that these cards will neutralize and completely neutralize what is going on in Texas,” Newsom told journalists on Thursday after announcing a special election in November for Californians to vote on the Gerrymandered card. California, unlike Texas, requires a voting initiative to pass its proposed card from mid-December.
Republican holders The targets of the proposed California card are Californian representatives Doug Lamalfa, Ken Calvert, Darrell Issa, Kevin Kiley and David Valadao.

Lamalfa and Calvert’s districts have both been in republican hands for decades. The Gerrymandered card seeks to replace their two seats with seats in complete democratic security.
Lamalfa has since represented the 1st district of the California Congress, which currently covers a sprawling rural area which extends from the state of the state of the state of the state and the Nevada north of Sacramento. The headquarters have been held by the Republicans since 1981 and Lamalfa won the 2024 elections by a glow margin of 30 percentage points.
In the newly proposed map of the Democrats of California, the 1st district would be reconfigured to expand in the wine country of the County of Sonoma. Democratic candidate Kamala Harris won the county of Deep Blue with more than 70% of the votes in 2024.
The constitution of the State of California prohibits politicians from drawing their own districts and rediscovering in mid-December. However, the Democratic members of Congress, Gavin Newsom and Democratic legislators (some who want to be members of the Congress) conspired behind closed doors to draw…

Calvert, who was elected for the first time at Congress in 1993, represents the 41st district of southern California, extending from Palm Springs to Corona. Calvert won the re -election in 2024 3.4 points in a previously safe republican district which was redesigned to be competitive after the 2020 census.
However, under the new map, the current headquarters of Calvert would be eliminated and replaced by a strongly democratic district just in the east of Los Angeles.
“I firmly oppose the orchestrated regime in camera by Sacramento politicians to keep the constitutional power of independent citizens
64% of Californians oppose the seizure of Gavin Newsom’s power. It is clear that there is bipartite support to keep the independent commission of redistribution citizens and not allow politicians to draw their closed -door district cards to choose their voters. https://t.co/yylknhzbvc

Issa, which was elected to the congress in 2001, represents the 48th district which reached the southern border of California in the east of San Clemente. While Issa easily won her re -election offer in 2024 18.6 pointsThe new card would pass to its district to be a strong republican with democratic slope.
Kiley, who is in his second mandate representing the 3rd district of California extending from the suburbs of Sacramento on the Californian-Nevada border, defeated the former name of Newsom Jessica Morse in 2024 by 11 points. The new map of Democrats seeks to add more democratic areas by the state capital to the Kiley district, effectively re -election of the holder.
Kiley also heads for a bill to prohibit redistribution nationwide and called on California to preserve its citizens’ redistribution committee.
“It was the voters themselves who said:” We want to take politics and politicians from redistribution and do this by a commission of independent citizens “and the voters are next to this judgment”, Kiley said During an appearance Thursday evening on MSNBC. “Democrats, the Republicans, the self -employed all promote a massive massification to keep the independent commission because they know that when politicians are responsible for tracing district lines, it is an inherent conflict of interest, because they will then go into these districts.”
Once again, Gavin Newsom is the Grand Uniter. A politico survey shows that democrats, republicans and the self -employed are all extremely opposed to its corrupt redistribution program. pic.twitter.com/cky77tnegk

The 22nd district of Central Valley represented by Valadao will be redesigned to be slightly more democratic under the new map. The current headquarters of Valadao, who voted for former president Joe Biden with two figures, notably balanced nearly 20 points on the right during the presidential election of 2024.
In addition, the new California Democrats proposed also seeks to add more democratic voters to the seats represented by the half-dozen vulnerable Democrats in California, the representatives Adam Gray, Josh Harder, Mike Levin, Dave Min, Derek Tran and George Whitesides.
The nine members of the delegation of the California Republican Chamber published a joint statement on a recent survey revealing that the Californians greatly disappear the request to prevail over the independent redistribution committee.
“Governor Newsom is trying to seize the power of the citizens of the commission and to give it to the politicians of Sacramento to Gerrymander their own districts,” the legislators wrote in the press release. “Our delegation will resist the citizens of California and defend their rights as they are today in our Constitution of State by opposing the measurement of the Newsom ballot. All Californians, whatever their political affiliation, should not vote on this attempt to eliminate the independent capacity of the citizens’ redistribing commission to draw fair congress districts. “
