Nicki Minaj’s Sensational Remarks at AmFest on Trump, Vance, and Speaking Up – RedState

Many interesting speakers attended Turning Point USA’s AmFest event over the past few days.
But they had one guest who I don’t think anyone could have guessed would show up at the event: rapper Nicki Minaj. Minaj became involved with the Trump administration after they agreed on the issue of stopping the killing of Christians in Nigeria.

Erika Kirk spoke with her at AmFest, and it was clear that she is a strong supporter of the Trump administration.
.@NICKIMINAJ: “I have the greatest respect and admiration for our president. I don’t even know if he knows it, but he has given so many people HOPE that there is a chance to defeat the bad guys and WIN… This administrator is full of people with heart and soul, and they make me PROUD.” pic.twitter.com/ZvF9hE4VcV

“I have the greatest respect and admiration for our president…I don’t even know if he knows it, but he gave so many people hope that there was a chance to defeat the bad guys and win.”
She said he’s from Queens like her, so they have something in common.
Then she had a good idea.
“What this has shown me personally, sometimes even in the worst times of your life, you think you’ll never get over it. But you do. And our president shows it. He’s been through everything a person can go through – publicly. He has to be constantly lied to. I have to read these lies. It’s just not fair. [….]
But this admin is full of people who have heart and soul, and they make me proud of them.”
She praised Trump and Vice President JD Vance, saying they have an “uncanny ability” that people identify with. “When I hear them speak, I know they are one of us,” she said. “They have the ability to stay connected and be real, and make us proud to be American.”
This is an excellent assessment of the power of Trump and Vance that the media continually overlooks.
You also have to think that it’s brave of him to say that, knowing that it might not go down very well with many people in the music business or even all of his fans. She is not afraid to say what she believes.
Minaj went even further, sharing her displeasure with California Governor Gavin Newsom. We talked about how she had verbally skewered him in the past, and she wasn’t holding back now, calling him “Newscum.”

She said that in a world that doesn’t want people to think, we think, and others who attack and don’t, can “stay angry”, because they are “angry at themselves”, another good assessment.
