No, That Wood-Chopping Illegal Alien in Washington State Is Not a ‘Firefighter’ or ‘Victim’ – RedState
Friday evening, a parent sent me an SMS. It was not unusual. He recently discovered texts as a vehicle to complain, and specifically, to complain. The context was not unusual either. It was a rant on “fascist Trump”. Trump, he wrote, had sent his stormtroopers to Washington state and they had removed two, brave firefighters from the front of a forest. Fascist! He cried – they distance firefighters from fire fighting! How much children and puppies will die because of Trump?!
This parent is a left carrier of cards. I do not know the source of his kool-aid. I could guess. Perhaps these are only ghosts in his head, but he is not alone. Politicians who know how to better disseminate absurdities and half-truths to wave the base. Gavin Newsom recently disrupted, saying Trump “will cancel” the 2026 elections.
After receiving the text from my parent (and sighed deeply), I looked for what really happened. This comes from a press release on customs and American borders:
Due to the site far from the site, BLM requested USBP assistance to verify the identity of all the staff present. The work teams, totaling 44 people, required an identity verification to ensure that individuals on site corresponded to the lists of entrepreneurs.

USBP agents supported BLM rangers to check the identity of contract staff. Several deviations have been identified and two people have proven to be present in the United States illegally, one with a previous dismissal order. The two people were arrested and transported to Bellingham station for illegal entry and 8 US code 1326 – Reenti the extraterrestrials removed. Forty-two people were released from the scene and escorted federal lands.
The termination and application measures of the contract did not interfere with fire -fighting operations or the response to active fires in the region, or has not imposed a danger for the surrounding community.
Border Patrol had been alerted that these illegal extraterrestrials had been hired by an independent and third -party entrepreneur based in Oregon. They were “firefighters” on paper, but no more fires. Border Patrol checked the entrepreneur’s files and files did not correspond to people on site. Officials found two guys who had illegally entered the United States and held them.
These two were not on the line of fire by stopping a fire. They did not save babies. They didn’t save puppies. They cut wood. These two were detained and transported to a detention center. But Legacy Media transformed the story into CBP and Ice keep heroes from front lines. My parent bought this myth, like every myth he consumed since Trump has taken an oath.
Politicians DEM like to pour gas over the fire. They also like to lie.

The reality is always hidden by the inherited media, generally in paragraphs at the end of an article or in the LEDE. The AP reported the story and included a photo of firefighters in the middle of a fire. For the two illegal detained, it is not remotely what happened.
What is the truth? Time will inform us, but an illegal foreigner held had a referral order. Thus, one of the wood choppers had a pending elimination order, so that it leaves us, with one. The other guy? Of course, he was brought to the United States by his illegal extraterrestrial parents at the age of four, but why did he not cross the appropriate channels to, at least obtain legal status?
His lawyer claims that his client is the victim of a bureaucracy. He’s a victim:
“Our client submitted a visa-u application in 2018 after he and his family were the victims of a federal crime,” he said. “They have cooperated with the police in the investigation into this federal crime, and they have been waiting for more than seven years for the USCIS for more than seven years to judge this visa.”
The lawyer will not tell us if his client has obtained a “deferred status”. For what? You can take your own supposition, but mine is 100% that its customer has no “delayed status”.
The lawyer added sympathy points – which his client lives in Oregon and obtained his graduate of secondary studies.
Ok … then? More Dem Pols have jumped. American representative Andrea Salinas, D-eargon, District 6 said in a press release:
Ice stopped two fires of fire working to stop a forest fire. These people risk their lives to ensure the safety of communities. How does it make Americans safer? Each day, this administration finds a new way of showing how backward and inhuman it is.
No, they were not.
Can I tell my parent these “facts”? Of course not. He told me years ago that he did not want to hear my “facts”.
Cults are like that.
