Norwegian controls target meat and fish sector

A series of inspection reports have recently been published by the Norwegian authorities.
In one of them, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority (Mattilsynet) carried out inspections at companies producing ready-to-eat meat products, such as sliced cooked ham and cured sausages.
The Norwegian Food Safety Authority audited 83 sites between May 2024 and May 2025.
