Not A Single Democrat Shows Up To Hearing Where Whistleblower Accuses Anthony Fauci Of COVID Cover-Up
No Democrats attended a committee hearing Wednesday in which a whistleblower accused former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Facui of withholding details about the origins of COVID-19.
Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) employee James Erdman III appeared before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee to testify about Fauci’s alleged role in covering up the origins of COVID-19, in the absence of a Democratic member of the committee.
“No Democrats showed up. They don’t care about dismantling the deep state,” Gabrielle Lipsky, deputy communications director for Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. (RELATED: DOJ indicts Fauci’s former top adviser for plotting against the United States)

Arizona Democratic Sen. Ruben Gallego, a committee member, reportedly said something along the lines of, “What’s going on here? when he passed the room where the hearing took place, Fox News congressional correspondent Bill Melugin reported. We didn’t know if he was serious.
Michigan Democratic Sen. Gary Peters, the ranking member of the committee, did not immediately respond to DCNF’s request for comment.
Erdman alleged that Fauci and other officials in former President Joe Biden’s administration changed the findings of the report concluding that COVID came from a laboratory in Wuhan, China.
The hearing came after the deadline set by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to charge Fauci with allegedly lying to Congress about gain-of-function research being the cause of the virus. The statute of limitations for taking action against Fauci expired on Monday.
Paul, the committee chairman, said on X that he held the hearing to help uncover how Fauci “misled and defrauded” the American public.
“The DOJ may never act, but the American people know the truth: Fauci misled and defrauded this country,” Paul said. “I won’t stop uncovering the truth about the great COVID cover-up. That’s why I will have a whistleblower testify before my committee this Wednesday.”
