Charlie Kirk’s Casket To Be Flown To Arizona On Air Force Two

Charlie Kirk’s coffin will be transported by plane to Phoenix Thursday on board the Air Force Two, accompanied by his family, friends, vice-president JD Vance and the second lady, a familiar source with the plans said at Daily Caller.
Before the flight, the vice-president and the second lady will join Kirk’s family and several of her close friends in Salt Lake City, the source said. Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was shot on Wednesday during an event on campus at Utah Valley University. He was 31 years old. President Donald Trump confirmed Kirk’s death on Wednesday after the first reports said the 31 -year -old was in critical condition. A university spokesperson told the appellant that Kirk spoke to students, a blow from a building about 200 meters hit him in the neck.
“Suddenly, from anywhere, there was this strong blow, just a blow, Bang. And I saw him hitting the neck, and I saw blood gushing from Red,” said a local student who attended the appellant’s event, adding that Kirk had answered a question about religion when the shot was dismissed.
Trump announced Thursday that he would award Kirk the presidential medal of freedom.
“Before I start, let me express the horror and sorrow of so many Americans of Charlie Kirk’s odious assassination,” said Trump. “Charlie was a giant of his generation, a champion of freedom and an inspiration for millions and millions of people. Our prayers are with her wonderful wife Erika and her beautiful children. Fantastic people are.
“I am happy to announce that I will soon derive Charlie Kirk, posthumously, the presidential medal of freedom,” he added.
