OpenAI’s GPT-5 could be coming in August, report says

Larger context windows

With each new model, Openai extends the Chatgpt context window. This term refers to the amount of data that a model can “remember” when responding to an prompt. Chatgpt developers and users actively call for larger context windows (the exact size varies depending on the model), and we would be shocked if this was not part of GPT-5.

To be frank, Openai has done a very good job to maintain at least GPT-5 leaks. In addition to some cryptic references that the model soon arrives, Openai has kept a discipline of messages fairly strict around the next model.
