Pennsylvania authorities accused a man of having brought two teenagers to the United States of Mexico and Guatemala and forcing them to work on a farm for little or no salary, the state prosecutor was said on Monday.

Ramiro Caal Jolomna used the threat of expulsion to force girls, aged 14 and 17, to work on the Mushroom Farm in the County of Chester, said Prosecutor General Dave Sunday.

The girls were forced to work seven days a week and “were accused of” debts “for Jolomna who brought them into the country,” said Pennsylvania’s state office in a statement.

Sunday said in a statement: “This is a disturbing set of facts involving a man attacking vulnerable girls who wanted to earn their honest life and help their families go home.”

The girls were held out of school to work on the farm, the authorities said. The way the 14 -year -old came to America was not clear to the declaration; She would have been brought from Mexico.

The authorities said Jolomna brought the 17 -year -old to the country under sponsorship and that she wanted to support a sick father and family members in Guatemala.

Jolomna had the pay checks of the girl who signed and kept most of the older girl’s wages allegedly signed, alleged the prosecutor’s office.

Jolomna is accused of trafficking in individuals and involuntary servitude, as well as other charges, said the prosecutor’s office.

Online judicial archives did not seem to show his case on Monday evening, and he was not clear if he had a lawyer who could speak on his behalf.

The prosecutor’s office said on Monday that Jolomna had been brought to justice and that the deposit had been set at $ 1 million.
