Plimoth Patuxet Museums’ heirloom plant sale returns. What to know

The Plimoth Patuxet Museums will hold its annual Spring Heirloom Plant Sale during the last two weekends of May, according to a community announcement.
The sale is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday May 23 and Sunday May 24; and Saturday May 30 and Sunday May 31. It will feature more than 100 varieties of ancient species, many of which were propagated from specimens grown at the Patuxet Historic Site and in the museum’s 17th-century English village, according to the announcement.
“The spring heirloom plant sale highlights a unique aspect of the museum’s mission: sharing the stories, history and culture of this land,” Christina Basler, director of guest services and group programs, said in a statement. “It’s a meaningful way for guests to connect to our mission while bringing a piece of history and culture to their own gardens.”
