Police investigating Raja Jackson, Rampage Jackson’s son, after brutal assault incident at wrestling event

The Los Angeles police service is investigating the incident in which Raja Jackson, the son of the former UFC heavyweight champion, Quinton, “Rampage” Jackson, has been shown on a live attack by a professional wrestler at the Knokx Pro Wrestling event. The LAPD confirmed his investigation at the New York Times and told TMZ that he had responded to the event on Saturday evening and had a police report.
The incident was broadcast on the live platform of the platform and showed that Jackson Slamming Stuart Smith, also known as “Syko Sta”, before the carpet before hitting it several times in the head. Smith posed motionless in the ring after being struck more than two dozen times in the face. Other wrestlers have retained Jackson to stop the altercation.
Smith was transported urgently to the hospital with serious injuries, according to Sean Ross Sapp. Douglas Malo, one of the wrestlers who intervened to stop the alleged assault, told USA Today that Smith was awake and spoke but had broken bones on the face and had lost “a lot of teeth”. He said Smith, 44, could be released from the hospital on Sunday.

Rampage Jackson apologized on social networks on behalf of his son and said the incident was bad communication. He said that his son had been unexpectedly struck in his head for a few moments before Smith’s match and he was told that he could get his “reimbursement” in the ring in the program.
“Raja is an MMA fighter and not a professional wrestler and had no company involved in an event like this,” said Rampage Jackson. “I do not tolerate my son’s actions at all! He suffered a concussion to fight a few days ago and did nothing to distance physical contacts. As a father, I am deeply concerned about his health and the well-being of Mr. Smith. I said very upset.
Smith was seen on the Livestream breaking a box of beer on Jackson’s head before his match. He apologized to Jackson several times and said he thought he was a worker. Jackson entered the ring in what would have been supposed to be a scripted response to Smith, and it was when the incident occurred.
Knokx Pro Entertainment, the organizer of the event in Sun Valley, said on Sunday in a statement that the confrontation “was supposed to be a planned and agreed place of struggle”, but it “turned into an act of selfish and irresponsible violence”.
“What was supposed to be a place of planned and agreed, transformed into an act of selfish and irresponsible violence against Mr. Smith,” said the press release. “This blatant act is reprehensible and should never have occurred. During the 17 years of operation of the Knokx Pro Wrestling Academy, there has never been anything so odious like this and we apologize to our customers and our fans.”
Knokx said he was monitoring Smith’s health but had no update on his condition.
“First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers are with our brother Mr. Stuart Smith,” said the press release. “There remains a priority and we monitor his well-being.”
